Forgiveness and Friendship

Throughout my life I often searched for the ultimate answers. The Bible portrays those answers well. Moreover, Christ can calm and comfort me by means of cleansing and forgiveness (1 John 1:9).

Christ is magnificent because He cleanses us. When I need cleansing, I just have to call on the Lord’s name; and the Lord will do the work (Romans 10:13). Calling with others is even more enjoyable and gives me a deeper sense of comfort. Furthermore, I can also let Christ cleanse me more if I pray truthfully and ask for His cleansing. Prayer is the key to my cleansing; it is a doorway to Christ. While the aspect of cleansing is crucial, idealship is important as well.

“Idealship” is my made-up term. However, it describes my trust in Christ. Idealship is the type of trust within friendship. Christ is always there when I need Him. He is dependable by this fact, and is my best friend. Idealship warns one against thinking of Christ’s place as only within a “church building”. Christ can be experienced everywhere. Christ’s being my best friend comforts me.

Without question, Christ’s ability to forgive me is marvelous. Regretfully saying, I may put off Christ’s forgiveness due to my nature. I need to train myself to pray, for praying allows Christ to forgive me.

If I were without Christ, I would be restless and wretched. That is a fact. I might encounter difficulties in life, but I can put the matter into Christ’s hand.
