God is Real

I am 16 years old and I just came to the U.S. about three months ago. I was baptized in Taiwan. Although at that time I didn’t want to be baptized at all, thinking back, I really think that it was God’s intention to let me be baptized. I started to open up to the Lord when I came to the U.S. and read a gospel book. One day, I just felt I needed to repent and open up to the Lord and let Him come in. From that time on, God has been pouring out blessings upon me.

I started reading the Bible every day. I wasn’t forced to. I just felt like reading the stories in the Bible. As time went by, my whole attitude changed and I didn’t even know. My taste changed from the world to the spiritual side. I used to speak trashy words, use God’s name in vain, go to parties, etc. Little by little, God drew me more and more until I cannot do the things I used to do. I have to say that I love God and He is my Savior.

The meetings of the local church are great. When I get together with the believers, I just feel God is so clear to me. I can enjoy God and can really touch Him. The best experience I have had is in the church Bible camp we have here every summer. Many young people from all over the U.S. gathered here and we were filled with God. I remember the camp of 1998. It was such a blessing to all the young people that everyone was sharing and active during the meetings. God is real. I say that, because I felt God and touched Him. That experience is really wonderful.
